A map of New France containing Canada, Louisiana &c. in Nth America Moll, Herman, -1732

Description

Engraved print in black depicting the area previously known as 'New France' from mid-18th century. Notably, this map notes one of the contributing influences, Antoine Crozet. Crozet was a business mogul who had a trade monopoly in the area and gained exclusive control over commercial and trade priviliges because of a royal charter granted to him by Louis XIV.
