Notes |
Pewter feeding bottle of a type common in England, France and Holland from 1600 to 1800. Perfect specimens of these flasks are becoming extremely rare on account of their use in modern times as feeders for lambs, with consequent destruction of the nipple. The diameter of the nipple measures 2 cm in diameter.
Gift of Miss Alice Wright, 1966. |
