Dear Sir:
In checking over statement of business
secured by you for Canadian pacific lines last year
I find that you were paid ,#2069.50 commission thereon,
and although this is a decrease of ^465*20 or a little
over "M$> as compared with 1923, it is a very good
showing.
I expect the exclusion bill which was passed
in the West Indies last year has stopped quite a bit
of this traffic but hope that business conditions will
be better during 1925 and that you will be able to
make as good if not a better commission than last yearl
Do not fail to communicate with me at any
time »hen I can be of service to you in any way, as
it is our desire to co-operate with, our commission
agents and give them every assistance possible.
Jours truly,

I9th March 1925,
Mr, Yip Sang,
c/o Wing Sang & Co.,
51 lender 6t.,3.,
Vancouver.
Dear Sir,
Confirming our conversation on the I7th inst.,
I bog to enclose herewith GLOBS POLICY NO.403343, covering your premises for f15,000 for one year from the 23rd
inst.
This policy replaces policies Nos.404109 and
II653338 -f°r $7,5°0 each which expire on this date.
I "believe you understand that the increase in
premium is accounted for by the IQ/£ increase in ratey
which the Board of Underwriters are obligated to impose
on account of the City officials action in maintaining
an under-staffed fire department. This condition is
expected to be remedied as soon as the City is supplied
with a fire boat, when the 13>% increase will be remedied,
and rebate made to the policy holders.
Thanking you for the renewal of this business,
we are,
Yours faithfully,
HAR/D,

'S733S9y3S33.m99SSy37y3y.2-777 One of the underlying principles which enables Dodge Brothers to deliver so much real motor car value
at so low a selling price is the fact that this selling price is based on manufacturing cost only.
This does not include any added charge to cover so-called "free replacements", or "free service", or any
other item for which every purchaser would necessarily pay in advance, but which would benefit
only a few at some indefinite future time.
It is our belief that car owners prefer paying for these items as and when needed, rather than in a lump
sum in advance whether or not needed.
Thus the purchaser pays for the vehicle only, and buys and pays for service only when needed.
Before a Dodge Brothers Motor Vehicle is shipped from the factory every precaution is taken by over
seven hundred inspectors of individual parts, unit assemblies, and finally the vehicle complete, to
insure that all material and workmanship is up to the required standard and to make certain that
the vehicle is in proper running condition.
We, as dealers, also test each vehicle received by us to make sure that it is in the same condition as
when it left the factory.
Therefore, after we deliver the vehicle to our customer in good running order, service rendered by us is
properly chargeable in accordance with the ninety days Standard Warranty of the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce, under which Dodge Brothers Motor Vehicles are sold.
(Standard Warranty of the National Automobile Chamber,of Commerce)
We warrant each new motor vehicle manufactured by us, whether passenger car or commercial vehicle
to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service, our obligation under this warranty being limited to making good at our factory any part or parts thereof
which shall, within ninety (90) days after delivery of such vehicle to the original purchaser, be
returned to us with transportation charges prepaid, and which our examination shall disclose
to our satisfaction to have been thus defective; this warranty being expressly in lieu of all other
warranties expressed or implied and of all other obligations or liabilities on our part, and we
neither assume nor authorize any other person to assume for us any other liability in connection
with the sale of our vehicles.
This warranty shall not apply to any vehicle which sball have been repaired or altered outside of our
factory in any way so as, in our judgment, to affect its stability or reliability, nor which has been
subject to misuse, negligence or accident, nor to any commercial vehicle made by us which shall
have been operated at a speed exceeding the factory rated speed, or loaded beyond the factory
rated load capacity.
We make no warranty whatever in respect to tires, rims, ignition apparatus, horns or other signaling
devices, starting devices, generators, batteries, speedometers or other trade accessories, inasmuch
as they are usuaUy warranted separately by their respective manufacturers. QUADRUPLICATE
