VICTORY BONDS BOUGHT AND SOLD Transact your bond business through along established and thoroughly organized concern. Ceperley, Rounsefell & Co. ESTABLISHED I_f 1886 INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITY MARKED It was predicted some weeks ago that the present year would be one of the most active in an industrial and business sense in the history of the interior of British Columbia. That prediction is being proved true by events. Gold mines which were closed for three or four years on account of war conditions are being opened up, while other mining activity is increasing. Farming is undergoing speedy development and many new settlers are arriving. every week, while good prices for ranch produce are resulting in a record number of acres being brought under cultivation. The lumber business is also beeon^ ing more active. The interior of British Columbia has little cause for anxiety as to the effect of;-the: reconstruction period.—Nelson 'News.
