St., ut a cost of about $70,000. The
building will be 320 x 200 ft. in dimensions, of frame and brick veneer construction, and will contain an artificial ice rink. Patrick Bros, have purchased two Ice making machines,
and 11 is possible that a second
link of about the same size will be
erected in Victoria, flans will be completed about June 20 and tenders will
then be taken for a general contract.

report on the water system here, recommended to the council the construction of a gravity water system and
hydro-electric power plant nnd urged
that immediate steps be taken toward
filing applications with the federal
and provincial governments for the
