bldg., has completed plans and taken
tenders for the construction of a 3-
story brick veneer apartment and
store building, 66 x 75 ft., to contain
sixteen 3-roojn suites, and to cost
about $20,000. The contract will be
awarded about Wednesday. The building Is to be located at Broadway, E.,
and Glen Drive, and specifications include gas heat, tar and gravel roof,
cone, foundation and 16 plumbing sets.
All rooms will be outside.

A permit was taken out Friday for
a 2-story brick rooming house to be
erected at 608 to 612 Alexander St., on
June, 1911, 1364 permits, valuation j lots 2 and 3, blk. 43, D. L. 196, at a
906,706; June, 1910, 1186 permits, valu- cost ot $35,000, for N. E. Arnold and

WILL CONSTRUCT BRIDGE
SOUTH VANCOUVER���The board
of works recently decided to recommend to the council that a bridge be
constructed over the ravine on Rowling road, between the Kerr road and
Nanaimo st. The bridge will be 315
ft. long, 24 ft. wide and 35 ft. above
ground. It will be set on concrete
piers.
