ty to observe, errors were lew. and
Tuesday's game was the cleanest ex

Cranbrook.

Cox, wanted just n lew more .eight
or six, hut did not get tlli'lll.
Veley, was like n stonp rence, ho
balls got past, him, and Nelson's
swift curve balls fooled the Moyic
hoys from the beginning. Ou tile
' other hnnd Calvin did , not get Ids
curves working' until' the gnme'was
lost.
Sullivan's drive iu tlie fourth came
near to placing n home run to his
credit.
WEDNESDAY'S GAME.
There was great interest taken in
the ball gnme on Wednesday, between
Moyie and Crnnhrok. This interest
lind been heightened by the fact that
Moyle bus defeated the home team
several times at Moyic and once ul
Creston. Hut Cranbrook certainly
bud their revenge when they defeated
the Silver City nine nt Crnnhrook in
two successive games this week.
The buttery for Crnnbrook., were
Nelson and Veley. For Miiyle Gal
via and llrady. A Mr. Kelly, from
the Prairie Province umpired the
game in n fair and imparllal man
ner.
Nelson was steady and effective,
and Ills curves were too much for the
miner's.
ilulvin was weiili. and live runs
were made by Cranbrook. all garnet!
by good playing.
In the eighth, inning, Grady was
stung, nnd he started for the umpire
with blood in Ills eye, but he never
reached Ibe pitcher SjltoX, behind
which the umpire wns localed. lllll
it. was evident that Grady bad nil
lied tho umpire (or several rotten
decisions gave Moyle three runs to
which they were not entitled fto.
