A display system for computer graphics is described in this thesis. The requirements of the display system are defined, with the emphasis on use in computer-aided network design. Several basic design alternatives are examined, and a basic approach is chosen toward development of a prototype system. A detailed description of the graphics display system architecture and operation is provided. Details relating to the implementation of the prototype system are provided, and the performance of the system is examined.
