Abstract
Several new Ru(III) maltolato (ma) and ethylmaltolato (Ema) complexes have been synthesized, characterized, and tested for biological activity in vitro against MDAMB- 435S cells, a human breast cancer cell line. Ru(ma)₃ and Ru(Ema)₃ were studied in detail using a number of spectroscopic techniques. [the rest of the abstract can be found in the attached PDF file]
