Abstract

The thesis for the Master of Music degree in Composition consists of live performances of original works composed during graduate study. The student is expected to have written and have performed approximately an hour of music for various media. My compositions were performed on January 21st, 2011; April 1st, 2011; February 27, 2012; March 19th, 2012; and April 10th, 2012. The total duration is approximately 46 minutes. The Compositions are: Rap and back String Quartet no. 2 Two Short Movements for Woodwind Quartet A River of Time (Electroacoustic composition without a score) Jupiter (Electroacoustic composition without a score) The Hidden and Revealed: for Solo Violin Zigzag Ontology: for Solo Cello and Loop-track
