Our Place Food Strategy : Findings from DTES community agency voices Vancouver Neighbourhood Food Networks
Abstract
A project report from the Vancouver Neighbourhood Food Networks. The Food Strategy was created with the goal of collaborating with several inner-city agencies and organizations who provide food programming to identify gaps and potential opportunities in their local food system through a place-based food strategy that better supports the health and well-being of all families, children, and youth, particularly those more vulnerable. It includes agencies from the Downtown Eastside, Strathcona, Mt. Pleasant, Hastings, and Grandview Woodland neighborhoods.
