Abstract

This report is the ninth of its kind reporting the place of graduation for selected health occupations in British Columbia. The choice of groups for the present report is restricted to "licensed" or "registered" professions in this province for which updated data are available, and place of graduation of members is known. In all cases, the total number of licensed or registered professionals, as of the date of record, is given. Three groups appear in this report for the first time: Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists. The latter is the only group presented here for which registration is not mandatory, but regulation exists in the form of exclusive use of statutory title.
