This is the third in a series of biennial reports produced by the Division of Health Services Research and Development on physician supply and medical care costs per capita, for British Columbia. The present report covers the period 1980-81 to 1985-86. It includes data on physician full-time-equivalent supply, physician incomes, per capita medical care costs, receipt of services by source of physician, and provision of services by location of patient. Some of the data are reported only for 1985-86, in the interests of space. Other data, such as those on physician supply and incomes, are provided for 1980-81 and 1985-86.
