J.M.J. Montreal Work of the Good Books I. Do not dirty the books ;  do not write on ;  do not bed or tear out pages ;  do not crush the cover ;  do not leave lying around ;  return them well wrapped. You will pay for damaged or lost books. II. You can only have one book at a time, if you want two, pay for two subscriptions. Never take a book without registering it with the librarian. III. If you keep a book longer than 30 days, you pay a fine of 3 sous for each week it is not returned. IV. Pay attention to the hours of admission. Each year on the first of August, return books so they can be repaired and restored to good order ;  we will cease lending books during that time for 15 days.
