AB - We present a variant of the Cahn-Hilliard energy model for immiscible fluids which incorporates the effect of periodic heterogeneity at small scales. We describe the asymptotic behavior of minimizers using Gamma convergence methods. This talk will address some of the major difficulties in passing to a homogenized limit, which will require heavy exploitation of the self-symmetries of the N-dimensional integer lattice.
