This reference library was started by a few energetic and public-spirited members some time ago and has been growing by leaps and bounds of late with the addition of some very valuable and instructive works. In a short time now there will be 300 volumes in the reference library. Among these volumes are complete copies of the proceedings of the Civil Engineering Society of England, proceedings of the Institute of County Engineers of England, and transactions of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineering,' now the Engineering Institute of Canada.
