April 1st. 1928. Dear Sirs :- fe are enclosing the Auditors Balance sheet for the year ending February 29th. 1928. The audit was thorough, even the mouse traps are mentioned. The statement is clearer than any we have had in the past. The segregation of accounts was first made by us and our statements will agree with the Auditor's Statement. Our statements are not yet typed, but we are sending you a statement of the Crop Yield? also a Cash staement in the same form as that sent you on Feb. 21st. From the Balance Sheet we have drawn up a statement of current Assets and Liabilities showing the increase in value of Inventory based on returns which we now have. From this it can be seen what the profit would have been if all returns had been received before the books were closed. This statement you will find enclosed. The only pools not closed are Hewtowns and Winesap. Today we have a bank balance of l7fB00. this we are disbursing and will mail under separate cover* f« have had advances on the Hewtowns of about f1000. so including Handling charge rebate there is only about another $5000. coming from the Union. Will write more fully when we send our statements as the operations for the year. We last wrote you on Inarch 10th. Tours truly J.B.McAllister ^-^^^^ R.S. Dormer £/ / April 1st. 1928.
