THE CUV HOSPITAL. In Its hospital, the City of Prince Rupert has a valuable asset. Last evening there graduated from the institution three young ladies who go Into the ranks of trained nurses to do a noble work in the world. The hospital is from year to year adding Its quota of trained young ladies in this line of activity, it is questionable if there is a hospital iu the Province of the same capacity as the one i this City that is as well equipped and in as good position financially as l ical institution. The Board of >rs, following a well defined policy of previous boards for economy in the administration of the place without curtailing tlie efficiency of it, deserves credit for what it is doing in this line. THE ELECTION. With the fixing of Ihe date for the election for the Province, attention will he more and more centred upon that event from now until it is all over With a long campaign in view, there "ill be no excuse for the ques- on ol the day not being fully dis- i ussed before the electorate. In addition to the general matters of Internal interest, there are two subjects that will be brought up, and upon which the electorate should give a great deal of thought. These two subjects are of far more than mere passing moment. They are matters that affect the country very strongly. These are the questions of Prohibition and of Woman Suffrage. They come up for decision by the electorate in the form of plebiscites and will he voted upon at the the same time as the election of the members for the House is held.
