No. 50. HAZELTON, B.C., SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 1911. EIGHT PAGES B.C. ANTHRACITE SYNDICATE START AN EXHAUSTIVE TEST OF THEIR PROPERTY , i Large Pack Train en route to their Properties in Groundhog Mountain District A large party, including Leon Benoit of Winnipeg and R. C. Campbell-Johnston, mining engineer, of Vancouver, arrived on the Port Simpson en route to Groundhog mountain and the coalfields of the upper Skeena. When interviewed by a Herald representative concerning their plans Mr. Campbell - Johnston said: "Besides Mr. G. E. Monck- ton, a well-known mining engineer and geologist, we have a party of seventeen men. We propose working the full summer and substantiating the data we the geological survey is sending a man to report on the coal basin. "For financial reasons the syndicate is securing the services of the most noted expert in the world to come in later in the season." A pack tn:in of 58 horses has been secured for the first trip which leaves the party a little short as it had been intended to take seventy. As the train will be working all summer packing supplies, no shortage is looked for. Mr. Benoit is returning to the coast on his way to Winnipeg by next boat. At the place where work was started there was last fall a showing of about 18 inches of ore of which less than a foot was solid, being a mixed copper pyrite and galena. A few shots showed more or less ore for a total width of cS feet and a remarkable change for the better, which puts it almost on a par with the upper vein, which was the one considered to be really worth while when the bend was taken. FIRST AND FOREMOST Y^E believe that the stock will steadily advance on the true merit of the properties. Secondly, we believe in the management of the company, and further that the safety of the investors' money is absolutely assured. We believe furthermore that there is great value in the property holdings far and above the present selling price of stock. The big developments underway today and those contemplated are most certain to bring about a big demand for Omineca Mines Limited, and the selling price of shares will be advanced to a price consistent with property development. Be one of the early purchasers and secure the maximum of profit. Positively no more than 100,000 shares will be sold at 10 cents per share. Thereafter the sale of treasury shares will either be withdrawn or the stock advanced to a price consistent with the development of the property.
