According to \"A History of the County of Buckingham: Volume 3,\" published by British History Online, there were two Stephen Langstons as rector at Little Horwood. In 1777, Stephen Langston received the living after Kidgell Sandon, and Langston resided there until his death in 1797, where he passed the living to his son, the other Stephen Langston, until 1816 upon his death. However, \"The Sheffield Directory and Guide\" which was published in 1828, mentions another Stephen Langston, this time \"Stephen Langston, A.M,\" who at time of publication was the minister of St. George's Church in Sheffield, but with no other biographical information given.
