Contractor Macdonald says\nthat if there is no delay occasioned by\nthe nou arrival of the transformers, be\ncan have the light turned on in about\na week'* time.\nMr. E- Sawyer, owner of the patents\nof tbe Elmore process of concentration,\nis in Grand Forks. Mr. Sawyer Fays\nthat the ores of the Boundary are well\nadapted to this mode of treatment. It\nis claim d lor the process that it saved\nthe finest slime or float mineral, free\n?old, sulphides, or tellurides, etc.,\nwhich is the chief source of loss in\nwater concentration plants, and will\nseparate such mineral even when the\nsame is of less specific gravity than\nthegangue it occurs in.\nRev.
