Goldie- McDonald, Gray, Seaton and Read,\nand the Secretary.\nThe Secretary read the letter written to Mr. Cathoart, Deputy\nMinister of Lands in accordance with the instructions of the\nlast meeting of the Trustees.\nMr. Goldie reported on the interviews he and the Secretary had\nhad with Mr. de Wolfe and with the Manager of the Canadian\nBank of Commerce.\nThe Trustees considered the accounts of the Flume Committee\nin detail, and it was\nmoved by Mr. Gray,\nSeconded by Mr. McDonald, That the Secretary be authorized to\nissue a cheque to the Flume Committee\nfor the sum of $730.00, to apply on\nthe District's contribution tfto\nthis work.\nCarried.\nThe following accounts were submitted by the Secretary.\nKelowna Printing Company $ 13.60\nRibelin photo Studios 5.00\nMrs, M. I* Meugens 4.25\nIt was moved by Mr. Read,\nSeconded by Mr. McDonald, That the above accounts be passed\nand the Secretary authorized to issue\ncheques in payment.\nCarried.\nThe Secretary reported that In accordance with the terms of\nthe contraot, the sum of $1593.00 had been paid to the Interior\nContracting Company, on account of work on Crooked Lake Dam\nto October 8th; the account having been vouched for by\nMr. w. A. Cameron.\nMr, McDonald reported conversation with Mr. Cameron on the latter1 s\nreturn from crooked Lake this evening; Mr. Cameron expresses\nhimself as very well pleased with the progress being made by the\ncontractors.\nA discussion ensued on the damage claimed by A.
