It is\nsafe to say that somewhere in the\nneighborhood of 50 per cent of the\nwell-wishing was genuine and sincere,\nhalf of the balance prefunctory and\nthe remainder merely conventional.\nHowever, it is also safe to say that\nfew mortals really wish anyone else\nany real harm\u00E2\u0080\u0094unless their interests\nclash.
