The news ol the suooess ol\nthe method has spread and a number oi mining men trom adjoining\nmining centres in British Columbia and Washington have come\nhere to examine the plant in wbioh\nthe method is being used with a\nview to adopting it in other places.\nDr. W. A. Hendryx in a recent interview stated that in treating the\nore oi the Mountain Lion he used\nonly .964 ot a pound ol oyanide of\npotassium tp the tone ot ore. This,\nhe sajs, is le?s quantity than he\nhad anticipated using, and the\naverage duration of the treatment\nwas only eight hours.
