Twenty-five\nsticks of dynamite were placed under the bridge which is thirty-five\nfeet high and had a span of about\n120 feet. The point where the\ndynamite was placed is four miles\nfrom Union Bay. Being a frosty\nnight, the dynamite, according to\ntbe police, must have frozen, and\nby the time the lighted fuse reached the cap the dynamite only\nburned up in place of exploding as\nit would have done under ordinary\nBusiness was rather quiet at the\nregular New Westminster weekly\nmarket on Friday, the public evi-\n, dently holding back for another week\nbefore getting in Iheir Christmas supplies.
