He also discovered\nthat a man might be a Napolean In\nbooming real estate and mining camps,\nand only be simple country rock when\nIt pomes to prospecting tbe literary\nformation. Charles King, the well-\nknown and prolific writer of atorlea in\nblue, told Jim that he sbould have had\nlove In bis book, and offered some day\ntore-write it and, making Tough-Nut\nJack tbe central figure, be would weave\naround him a web of love and romance\nthat would simply touch the calloused\nheart of the world and cause tbe tears\nto ll iw down Its face like water from a\nwet tunnel. Knowing Tough-Nut 1 can\nImagine what a hero he would be In a\nlove role. Simply delightful. If King\nsbould ever undertake to make a love\nstory out of Wanlncr'a book I can furnish him wltb a few characters to\nround out the plot. Dick Sbea, for Instance. Wflat a bold figure!
