H 2 REPORT ON ACTS\nP.C. 1958-1338\nCertified to be a True Copy of a Minute of a Meeting of the Committee of the\nPrivy Council, approved by His Excellency the Governor-General\non the 25th September, 1958.\nThe Committee of the Privy Council have had before them a report dated September 25th, 1958, from the Minister of Justice, submitting:\u00E2\u0080\u0094\nThat, with the assistance of the legal officers of his Department, he has examined\nthe Statutes of the Province of British Columbia passed at the First Session of the Twenty-\nfifth Parliament and received by the Secretary of State of Canada on the 21st day of\nOctober, 1957:\nThat, with the aforesaid assistance and with the assistance of officers of other\ninterested departments, he has considered representations made on behalf of Texada\nMines Ltd., Utah Co. of the Americas and Empire Development Company Limited for\nthe disallowance of the Mineral Property Taxation Act, one of the aforesaid Statutes; and\nThat, after full consideration of all of the aforesaid Statutes, the Minister of Justice\nrecommends that they be left to such operation as they may have.\nThe Committee concur in the foregoing and advise that a copy hereof be transmitted\nto the Lieutenant-Governor of the Province of British Columbia for the information of\nhis Government.\nR.
