Kimberley Nov. 6, 1973\nCowichan-Malahat._Lake Cowichan Nov. 21, 1973\nCariboo 100 Mile House June 18, 1973\nYale-Lillooet Princeton Sept. 10, 1973\nThe store at Chase (Shuswap Electoral District) was converted to self-serve.\nThe Liquor Administration Branch transferred its property at Kimberley and\nLake Cowichan to the Department of Public Works, as these properties were surplus\nto the Branch's requirements and had been vacated.\nAs a service to the travelling public, facilities for duty-free purchases were again\nestablished at the Vancouver International Airport.\nIn order to give added service at the Christmas season, the Liquor Administration Branch arranged for the extension of hours of sale of many stores throughout\nthe Province on December 15, 17 to 22, 28, and 29. These added hours, as in the\npast, proved beneficial in serving the public.\nSTOCKS\nThe value of stocks as at March 31, 1974, amounted to $10,456,282, being\nan increase of $1,774,683 in the value of stocks as at March 31, 1973.\nSALES\nThe total sales of $336,777,802 show an increase over the previous fiscal year\nof $43,291,860. This was spent on 23 new hotels,\ntotalling 2,033 rooms.
