November 4,1963, Amending the Government Liquor Act,\nBeing B.C. Reg. 528\/59 as Amended by B.C. Reg. 96\/62\n(a) By inserting as paragraph 4a of the form of application for licence set forth in Regulation 3.01 the following:\u2014\n\" 4a. The applicant desires that the following be specified in the licence as the hours during which liquor\nmay be served on the licensed premises on each day during which liquor may be served thereon.\"\n(6) By striking out Subregulations (a), (b), (\/), and (g) of Regulation 5.10 and substituting:\u2014\n15.10 (a) Subject to Regulation 5.09, liquor may be sold on licensed premises during the\nhours specified in the licence, which shall not exceed a total of 13 hours, which shall commence not earlier than 9 a.m. and end not later than 12 midnight.\n\"(ft) In the case of a dining-lounge or dining-room licence, where entertainment or facilities for dancing are provided, the Board may alter, subject to Regulation 5.09, the hours by\nextending the closing hour to a time not later than 2 a.m. on the following day. The Board\nmay, subject to Regulation 5.09, extend the closing hour on December 31st to a time not later\nthan 3 a.m. the following day.\n\"(\/) No licensee shall allow any person other than his or her spouse or employee to\nremain in any public house or lounge licensed premises from half an hour after any closing\nhour to the next ensuing opening hour, or on any day on which liquor may not be consumed\nupon licensed premises.\n\"(i?) No person may consume liquor in any licensed premises from half an hour after any\nclosing hour to the next ensuing opening hour, or on any day on which liquor may not be consumed upon licensed premises.\"\n(c) By adding the following as Subregulation (i) of Regulation 5.10:\u2014\n\"CO In this regulation, ' closing hour' means the end of the period or periods specified in\nthe licence during which liquor may be served on the licensed premises on any day, and ' opening hour j means the beginning of the period or periods specified in the licence during which\nliquor may be served on the licensed premises on any day.\"\nThis Minute to be in effect on and after January 1,1964.\nResolution of the Liquor Control Board, Approved by Order in Council No. 2856,\nNovember 12,1963, Amending B.C.
