WEIR,\nProvincial Secretary.\nOffice of the Lieutenant-Governor's Secretary,\nVictoria, B.C., April 8th, 1936.\nSir,\u2014I have the honour, by direction, to inform you that His Honour the Lieutenant-\nGovernor has to-day received a dispatch dated the 3rd instant from the Under-Secretary of\nState, Ottawa, transmitting a certified copy of Order in Council P.C. 801, dated April 2nd,\n1936, approving the Statutes of the Province of British Columbia passed in the year 1935,\ntogether with a copy of the report of the Minister of Justice referred to in the Order in Council.\nThese documents are forwarded to you herewith.\nI have the honour to be,\nSir,\nYour obedient servant,\nJ. CROMACK,\nAssistant Secretary.\nThe Deputy Provincial Secretary,\nParliament Buildings,\nVictoria, B.C.\nP.C. 801.\nCertified to be a True Copy of a Minute of a Meeting of the Committee of the\nPrivy Council, approved by His Excellency the Governor-General\non the 2nd April, 1936.\nThe Committee of the Privy Council have had before them a report, dated 30th March,\n1936, from the Minister of Justice, stating that he has examined the Statutes of the Province\nof British Columbia passed in the year 1935, and received by the Secretary of State of Canada\non the 11th April, 1935, and that he is of the opinion that these Statutes may be left to such\noperation as they may have.\nThe Committee concur and advise that a copy hereof and of the attached report, if\napproved, be transmitted to the Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia for the information\nof his Government.\nAll of which is respectfully submitted for Your Excellency's approval.\nE.
