Hodges, superintendent of the Granby plant\nlooked after his corporation's\ninterests. Hermann C. Bellinger, superintendent and heavy\nowner of the Crofton smelter\non Vancouver island was also\ntliere. All reported an unusually successful period of smelting.\nThe Northport smelter is working six fnrnaces and treating\nits full capacity. With fuel\ncoming in unlimited quantities\nfrom the great Crow's Nest\nPass fields; with lahor troubles\nsettled, and with the Le Roi\nmine furnishing all the ore that\nthe smelter requires, things are\nrosy with Mr. Wilson. It is an-\nouneed from London that the\ncompany is considering (he installation of a converter plant;\nat its Northport smelter.
