A. Milne\nFormer Editor of \"Punch.\"\nThe first performance of this play took place at the New Theatre\nLondon, on January 5th, 1920, under the direction of Dion Boucicault\nand Irene Vanbrugh.    The first New York performance was given by\nthe Theatre Guild on Feb. 21st, 1921.   The play is now presented by\nspecial permission of Mr. Milne for the first time in Western America.\nTHE PLAY IS STAGED UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MR.\nF. G. C. WOOD, ASSISTANT  PROFESSOR  OF  ENGLISH.\nCHARACTERS\nGeorge Marden, J. P Jack V. Clyne, Arts '23.\nOlivia, his wife,  Miss Betty V. Somerset, Arts '24.\nDinah,   his   niece Miss Georgina Mackinnon, Arts '22\nLady Marden, his aunt,  Miss M. Kirsteen Leveson, Arts '23.\nBrian Strange Wells W. Coates, Science '22\nCarraway Pirn  Neil   M.  McCallum, Science '23.\nAnne  Miss Isabel S. Miller, Arts '22.\nThe scene is laid in the morning-room at Marden House (Buckinghamshire) at the present time.
