WOODLAND\nGeneral Manager,\nLiquor Control and Licensing Branch\n Report of the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch\nThe Liquor Control and Licensing Branch presents the Fifty-seventh Annual\nReport covering operations for the period April 1, 1977, to March 31, 1978.\nThe related reports as required by section 85 of the Liquor Control and\nLicensing Act follow.\nSTAFF\nThe Liquor Control and Licensing Branch acknowledges with pleasure the\nco-operation and loyalty of the members of the staff during the year under review.\nThe number of employees on the permanent staff of the Liquor Control and\nLicensing Branch as of March 31, 1978, was 46.\nPERMITS AND SPECIAL OCCASION LICENCES\nPursuant to the provisions of regulation 1 (1) of the Liquor Control and\nLicensing Act, the revenue derived from the sale of special occasion licences\nduring the period April 1, 1977, to March 31, 1978, amounted to $157,795. This was spent on four hotels with\na total of 335 rooms.
