MUNICIPAL SUPERANNUATION REPORT, 1942-43.\nREPORT OF THE BUSINESS DONE IN PURSUANCE OF THE \"MUNICIPAL\nSUPERANNUATION ACT\" DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, 1942-43.\nSection 6.\u2014Contributions amounting to $267,876.88 were made by 3,295 Municipal\nand School Board employees.\nSection 8.\u2014Contributions credited to the various employers' accounts, in accordance\nwith the provisions of this section, amounted to $398,961.01.\nSection 10.\u2014The net requirements in the case of each employer were ascertained\nin the manner prescribed by this section, and Certificates of Loan were issued to the\namount of $405,199.92 in accordance with subsection (3) (c) of this section.\nSection 13.\u2014Superannuation allowances were granted to 171 employees.\nSection 17.\u2014Disability allowances were granted to 7 employees who had become\ntotally and permanently disabled.\nSection 18.\u2014Allowances were granted to dependents in the case of 15 employees\nwho died while in service.\nSection 18 (3).\u2014Refunds amounting to $917.57 were made in the case of 4 employees\nwho died while still in service.\nSection 20.\u2014Refunds amounting to $65,793.43 were made to 187 employees who\nleft the service of their employer.\nSection 31.\u2014Securities in the hands of the Trustees at this date are set out in\nSchedule 3 of this report.\nNORMAN BAKER,\nCommissioner of Municipal Superannuation.
