C.���������The Library Committee submitted a .report dealing with the question of a $50,000 Carnegie grant for a public'library in Nanaimo, the report being received and filed and the Joint Council and Board Committee requested to bring the matter of a public library before the city council with the request that the Council submit a bylaw to the rate-payers. Power Plant, Edmonton���������Messrs. Sanderson & Porter, of New York, financiers and builders of hydro electric plants recently, made a proposal to the city of Edmonton to furnish the city with electric power. The proprosed plant would be erected at Moose River, B. C, in the Yellowstone Pass of the Rockies. Its minimum capacity would be 300,000,000 K.W.H. transmitted by cable to Edmonton.
