The power was turned on this afternoon by the Puget Sound Traction, Light & Power Company, which has had the line under construction for several months. The electricity is drawn from i the Mount Vernon sub-station. This is the first time in nearly a year that Laconner has had any electric light and power. Prior to last year it was served part of the time by a small private plant.
