One of the most attractive divisions of the provincial exhibition and the newest large addition to the program at Queen's park is the horse show, held in the big arena every evening. With a setting and accommodations that cannot be surpassed in the west, there is a display of handsome horseflesh and expert ring judging there that is well worth taking in, whether or not the spectator is a fancier of the animals. In General F. L. Lessard the exhibition management has been able to secure a discriminating judge whose awards carry the weight necessary to command respect in any circles and the animals which are coming under his eye are taxing his marked abilities to the utmost. The horse show may be one of the newest innovations at the annual fair, but it shows indications of becoming one of the most popular attractions. KEEPING THINGS CLEAN. To President Charles A.
