The World Is Our Business
The forest industry has always played a major role in British Columbia's economy. Since about 90% of the wood and wood products produced in our province are exported, recent changes in global trade have left us scrambling to make up for falling revenues. We profile the efforts to convince China to use more lumber in construction. Several model homes and offices are built in China.
