Description
Moose habitat varies from one part of the province to the next. In order to conserve, maintain and enhance moose habitat, a 2-year study is underway. Global Positioning System collars are placed on 34 moose over 3 study areas of the East Kootenay. This data will assist forest managers in maintaining and improving moose habitat now and into the future.
