An update on B.C.'s new Forest Practices Code, the toughest environmental standards for logging in all of Canada, and Forest Renewal B.C. which has a plan to re-employ forest workers who lose their jobs due to reductions in the allowable cut. Note: The new Code, Forest Renewal and Watershed Restoration are the most major and far-reaching land use initiatives ever undertaken in Canada. WestLand will continue to update viewers on the phasing in of these enormous initiatives and the effect on overall sustainability in B.C.
