A B.C. Land Use Strategy
Some of the B.C. land use conflicts are addressed politically; some in the courts; but most by some kind of trade-off process between the various interests involved. Those who tend to favour the technical approach to making land use decisions are calling for a B.C. Land Use Strategy which could be valuable in "zoning" the public land base into uses compatible with the environmental, social and economic conditions and objectives.
