Installation of Second Xerox 914 Copier.
The second Xerox 914 has now been installed on the second level
of the library just below the Humanities Division. The first Xerox (in
the Humanities Division workroom) will continue to be used for photocopying runs of material which students and faculty want immediately.
The second machine has been acquired to photocopy the Woodward Library
catalogue, to handle overflow of long runs from the first Xerox and for
Library photocopying*
The Catalogue Division will staff and use the second machine
in the mornings and in the afternoons it will be operated by student
assistants and under the direction of Miss Vera Traff. Material for
photocopying should be given to Miss Traff directly who will be responsible for both machines. Student and faculty use will have priority
over Library requirements.
Budget Estimates for 1964/65*
Division Heads were asked to submit their budget estimates
for 1964/65 not later than 3 September 1963. Included should be all
requests for new positions, equipment items costing in excess of $50,
and major new supplies.
Divisional Annual Reports for 1962/63.
Divisional annual reports were requested by 1 October 1963.
The reports should be prepared as in former years, with a few exceptions.
In order to permit the binding of three complete sets of the reports,
division heads are asked to submit their reports in triplicate, double
spaced, and with a generous left margin. It is also requested that
reports be paginated lightly in pencil to permit the later assigning
of an overall consecutive paging. y <3
