On may 14$, 1964? .membership in the Faculty was extended to the Associate
and Assistant Librarians (Supervisors).
Library Budget
The Library Supplies and Expenses fund has not been increased this year
although we have undertaken the additional supply and expense costs of
Law, the Curriculum Laboratory and the Woodward Library. Costs of operating the Main Library will also be greater since we have 38 additional
staff. Library staff are therefore requested to keep supply and expense
costs to a minimum.
Unlike the last three years the Library does not have large amounts of
money from unfilled positions so that unfortunately we also lack funds
for extra hourly staff, and for filling positions before severance or
holiday time has expired.
Salary Scale '"'
A new salary scale for professional librarians has been approved,
effective July 1, 1964s
