Each year since its inception the University of British Columbia has staged graduation or congregation ceremonies for students who have successfully completed the requirements for their degrees. In addition to introducing all the student receiving degrees the congregation ceremonies also feature speeches by the President, Chancellor and honorary degree recipients. University Archives has video recordings of these events over the past thirty years which have now been included in this collection.
