Notes	To mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Point Grey campus the Alumni Association's Fairview Committee decided to commemorate the contributions of UBC's second president Leonard Klinck. The committee, chaired by Dean Blythe Eagles chose a stone monument that would be placed in Fairview Grove to mark the location of the first building on the UBC Point Grey campus. Two large stones excavated in the construction of the Gage residences were used as the monument and accompanying bench. Dean Eagles hosted the event, Arthur Lord turned the sod and Klinck's son Ronald unveiled the stone. Later the group travelled back to Cecil Green for an afternoon tea hosted by President D.T.
