Notes |
Title from title slip.
Production dates from artist's and owner's note. Scroll format (kansubon). Most of the images in the manuscript are based on Shijūnikoku jinbutsu zusetsu by Nishikawa Joken. Includes image of 琉球傾城圖. Two different manuscripts likely pasted together in the scroll format by collector. Scroll inscribed by 菅原吉賢, possibly a former owner, dated Hōreki 7 [1757] and signed by 業棄斉花鈴, possibly the artist, dated Hōreki 14 [1764]. |
