Description

Cover attached; cover title: 東武喜多川草鳥縮圖 Tōbu Kitagawa Sōchō shukuzu (Kitagawa Sōchō's miniature map). Round mark of 8th (month) Ushi, the year of the ox, is engraved. Shows daimyos' mansions and palaces, streets, and other points of interest; lists annual events or festivals; includes a table of distances from Nipponbashi to the starting points of each highway. Each daimyo's main residence is marked by his coat of arms, the second by a square, and the third by a circle. Cited in: WSN; 301
