Zōtei Izu Shichitō zenzu

Description

Indicates roads, towns, castles, provinces, county boundaries, stations, markets, fort, new fields, and border stations indicated. "Daiba" or fortifications and Tokai station indicated. Shows the sailing route from Edo to the Izu Islands. Two maps not in the collection should accompany this map: 無人島八十嶼圖 Muninjima hachijū shozu, 相武房總海岸圖 Sō-Bu Bōsō kaiganzu (Sō is the old name for what is now Kanagawa, Bu is the old name for Tokyo and Bōsō is old name for Chiba). Lengthy texts on various locations on the map, one being by 東條信耕 Tōjō Shinkō dated "壬寅之春 Mizunoe Tora no Haru".
