[Mi no toshi shōgatsu nijūyokka Edo taika yakebasho no zu]

Description

Shows areas of Edo affected by the fire that broke out on the 24th day of the first month of Kōka 2. "Mi" year is identified "Kinoto-mi" year of Kōka, 1845. Cf. Nakayama Einosuke, "Saigai no Kawaraban" (Tile block prints of calamities), in: Gekkan Kochizu kenkyū, vol. 3, no. 1972, pp. 6-7. Encapsulated; removed from the "Disasters" album.
