Description

First edition, second printing. Scale 3 bu to 1 chō : [1:12,000]. Cover attached; cover title same as map. Roads, towns, castles depicted. First edition, but second printing, as there is no inscription of the rates between each post-town. Eshi 菱川吉兵衛 Hishikawa Kichibē is the famous ’Ukiyoe’ artist 菱川師宣Hishikawa Moronobu. Contents : vol.1, Edo to Odawara (24 folds); vol.2 Odawara to Fuchū (25 folds); vol.3 Fuchū to Yoshida (29 folds); vol.4 Yoshida to Kameyama (29 folds); vol.5 Kameyama to Kyōto (24 folds).
